It was never something I placed at the forefront, but it was something that stayed with me. I grew up watching my father with a camera in his hand, fascinated by the way a moment could be preserved beyond memory. Over time, I realised it is not just about remembering, but about feeling and reliving, in the most raw and honest way, as close as possible to what it truly was. In the way everything is revealed through our lens, through a glance, a drop, a smile, in colours, in textures, in light and in the detail. Today, it is in the connection to the moment and to people that I find the true meaning of photography, so that it can live beyond memory.
